SPILL Festival of Performance, London
Dated On 16-01-2009 :
Are you an artist who has been showing performance work publicly for up to three years or have performed two works in an independent public forum?
Would you like to be part of a unique adventure which will be the SPILL Festival of Performance 2009?
On the 18th & 19th of April 2009, an extraordinary event will take place at the National Theatre Studio in London.
Across the two days emerging artists and companies will have an opportunity to showcase a piece of their work to an audience made up of national and international promoters, and members of the public.
This showcase will placed at the heart of SPILL Festival giving invited emerging practitioners the chance to place their work side by side with other artists in the SPILL programme, including Romeo Castellucci, Jan Fabre, Needcompany, Forced Entertainment, Pacitti Company and many more.
This is, quite simply, a golden opportunity.
SPILL Festival of Performance is the UK's premiere artist curated festival of experimental theatre, live art and performance practice.
After a hugely successful inaugural festival in 2007, SPILL continues to raise the profile of experimental practice in the UK, showing a vast array of styles and scale from international and UK based artists.
Each artist or company selected for the platform will receive an inclusive fee of £300.
Technical and marketing support, plus networking and professional development opportunities.
This platform is organised by Pacitti Company, makers of the SPILL Festival of Performance.
