One-Day Intensive US and RP Dialect Workshop. Actors Voice Ireland are delighted to announce the upcoming One Day US and RP Dialect Workshop. Dates : Sat 5th Dec – RP. Sat 12th Dec - US. Time: 10am – 5pm. Cost: The workshops costs €50 each. Special Offer of €80 if attending both workshops. Where: The conference room in the LAB, Foley St (just off Talbot St, beside Dance House) Tutor: Both workshops Taught by renowned dialect coach Cathal Quinn. Content: The RP workshop will cover the phonetic alphabet , tips for tackling New accents,Individual Work (time permitting) and monologue work. The US Workshop will cover Standard American, New York and Southern American (time permitting). Individual work will also be covered in the workshops so please bring a monologue appropriate for the accent.
