Why IrishTalent.ie?

Because we thought it would be a great idea to have every talented Irish person on one website where people can find them easily. While there are many sites with Irish actors, numerous sites with Irish models, and countless others devoted solely to singers, bands etc etc, we thought why not bring everyone together on one big database - kind of like a yellow pages of Irish Talent. Now, when casting directors, film makers, employers, and even party planners want to find someone for their movie, advertisement, wedding or party they only have to go to one place - www.IrishTalent.ie! Everyday trade professionals, talent agents, casting directors, etc., are looking for creative, artistic and talented Irish people. Let's say it's our way of alleviating the effects of the recession for artists. Things are bad enough out there!

How much does it cost?

Like we said - a subscription to Irish Talent is now free!

What do I get if I sign up as a talent?

You get a one year free subscription to the Irish Talent database. This includes a public profile web page viewable to individuals, casting agents, event organisers, directors etc,and are searching for talent such as yourself.

I can't upload/see my photo. Why?

Your photo is too large. Upload a photo with less kilobytes.

I'm having difficulties logging in to Irishtalent.ning.com, the social networking site.

You have to sign up separately with Ning.com first. You may of course use the the same email address and password you use for IrishTalent.ie to keep things simple.

Why is the same service being offered on IrishTalent.ie as on IrishTalent.ning.com? i.e. both sites offer profile pages, photos etc.

IrishTalent.ie is intended for casting professionals to browse so keep it looking professional.
IrishTalent.ning.com is for fun - jazz it up, keep in contact with other artists, display your personal photos etc. just like on Facebook or Bebo, only here we're hoping that with a concentration of Irish show biz people then we'll all get to hear a lot more of what's going down.
